The Mustangs fall to the Wolves 4-2

The Peoria Mustangs' defense had a poor night, allowing the Lansing Wolves 26 shots throughout the game. The Lansing Wolves took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Brandon Ashley.

Bear Ross contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jacob Redman chipped in with 2 assists.

During the first period, Ross opened the scoring for Lansing with a goal at 17:44 with helpers from Redman and Pipper.

In the second, Echelbarger deposited a goal at 6:16 with helpers from Ross and Diver. Ashley put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:35 with assists from his teammates Smith and Redman. Zowin finally put Peoria on the board with a goal at 13:17 with assists from Hay and Healy.

In the third, Layne deposited a goal at 12:42 with helpers from Mickel and Straker. Forman answered for the Wolves with a goal at 19:20 with helpers from Smith and Osinski.

This loss brings the Peoria Mustangs’ record to (19-17-1-1).
