The Peoria Mustangs proud member of the NA3HL announced today that Blake Ortman will make his return to the organization as co-coach. Blake will make his return to the Mustangs after spending a season (2021/22) with the El Paso Rhinos of the NAHL, serving as an assistant coach. Blake was part of a coaching staff with the Rhinos that sent 9 players to NCAA D-I hockey programs.
“Blake will be a tremendous asset to the Peoria Mustangs organization” the staff announced.
Ortman on his return to the Mustangs organization, “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be apart of the Mustangs family again. I am looking forward to continuing the rich tradition of success and player development Peoria has. They say home is where the heart is and my heart never left this organization.”
Clint Ruwe will remain Head Scout as well as behind the bench as an assistant coach.
