PEORIA, IL – The Peoria Mustangs are pleased to announce that on Friday, February 19th, forward Reid Lune signed a NAHL tender with the Jamestown Rebels for the 2021-22 season.

Lune, a native of Edwards, IL, has had a breakout season with the Mustangs tallying 28 points through 29 games played. Lune’s points come from 10 goals and 18 assists while also notching 3 game winning goals in the 2020-21 campaign.

Mustangs assistant coach Blake Ortman shared his thoughts on Lune signing his tender with the Rebels: “We are very happy for Reid. He is a big forward with tons of skill and an incredible hockey IQ. He dedicated himself to playing the right way in all three zones this year and lived in the gym. We are excited to see Reid excel at the next level”.

This will be Lune’s second go-around with the Rebels (located in Jamestown, NY) organization. In the 2019-20 season, Lune suited up in 2 games for the Rebels.
