The Peoria Mustangs will begin the 2021-22 campaign facing off against a familiar face. The Mustangs have announced that they will travel to Springfield, IL on September 3rd and 4th to battle in two pre-season contest against NAHL affiliate, the Springfield Jr. Blues.
Former Mustangs head coach and current Jr. Blues head coach Tyler Rennette had this to say on the two pre-season contests between the two clubs: “Preseason games are an important part of our Training Camp process,” said Rennette. “Being able to see our guys play against Peoria will allow us to evaluate players on another level that we don’t get to see during practices.”
The game on Friday the 3rd will start at 7 pm and the game on Saturday the 4th will start at 6 pm. Tickets for the game will be FREE and the Jr. Blues will release information on how you can obtain your tickets in advance in the coming days. Additionally, the Jr. Blues are following all guidelines and safety procedures to ensure that all players, fans, and staff can remain healthy.
