PEORIA, IL – The Peoria Mustangs have punched their ticket to the 2021 NA3HL Divisional Playoffs as they begin their quest for the Fraser Cup.
With their 4-1 win against the Rochester Grizzlies on Friday, February 12, 2021, the Mustangs became the second team in the NA3HL Central Division to punch their ticket to the NA3HL Divisional Playoffs along with the #1 seed, Rochester Grizzlies. Two more teams in the Central Division will claim their ticket to the playoffs before the regular season concludes.
The Divisional Semi-Finals will begin on April 1, 2021 and will run to April 4, 2021. The winners of the semi-finals will move on to the divisional final round. Once one of the clubs wins two games, they will be crowned divisional champion and will move on to the Fraser Cup Tournament in St. Peters, Missouri.
The Peoria Mustangs will be returning to the NA3HL Divisional Playoffs after the team entered the 2020 playoffs after another successful season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NA3HL Fraser Cup Tournament & Playoffs were cancelled before the Mustangs could start their playoff run.
