The Peoria Mustangs have issued a statement regarding the cancelation of the 2020 NA3HL Fraser Cup Playoffs in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
After considerable deliberation and discussion, it is with great sadness that the NA3HL Board of Governors unanimously voted this morning to cancel the remainder of the NA3HL 2019/20 season as of today. The COVID-19 health and safety concerns for all of our players, coaches, fans, parents, billets emerged as the overarching focus, and the only conclusion was to end the playoffs, send the boys home and start to get ready for next season.
On behalf of the entire Peoria Mustangs organization, we want to thank every member of our Mustangs family for your tremendous support and understanding throughout the 2019/20 season and through this unprecedented and difficult global health threat.
Once matters stabilize, we hope to meet again for a year-end wrap up party, and until then we wish everyone the best.
– Mustangs team President Paul Wayvon
